It worked a dream for me!
Check it out hereJust back from a great meeting with fellow internet marketers at the invitation of Bob Jenkins, aka Bob the Teacher, who kindly hosted a Power Lunch for us all at the famous Wagamama restaurant in London, just around the corner from the British Museum.
Food was delicious, company and conversation was so interesting.
Don't miss the opportunity to join up with 'like minded' people if possible, as this is the way for you to share information and keep motivated.
As early as the 1930s Napoleon Hill, in his classic novel Think and Grow Rich, had identified the power of Mastermind groups when he described it as "The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony."
Lot's of purpose and harmony was shared today at Wagamama.
You may have heard Facebook has just launched its brand new Facebook username on 12 June. Remember, if you're able to secure your very own name or company name it will do wonders for your online visibility and your branding.

If you've been following me on my blog or listening in on my free teleclasses, you'll know by now my ideal target market comprises of small home-business owners who are new to internet marketing who struggle to master the technology they need.
Here are a few of the demographics you should research to identify your ideal clients:
Age: Babies, toddlers, teenagers, young adults, middle aged, elderly
Gender: Male or female (or both)
Education/earnings: Lower or middle class, high earners, very wealthy
Marital status: Singles, married, divorced, living together as partners, widow/widowers
Locality: Local, national, or worldwide
Ethnicity: Asian, Afro-American or all groups
Religious background: One specific group or all groups
Family Life: Newly married, married with children, married no children, single parents, grandparents
After narrowing down your specific ideal market, you will have to spend some time researching the different ways you need to market to them. This can vary on their ages, gender, income and buying habits.
You may need to try several different types of marketing before you get it right.
I have found the 20 Ways to Make $100 Per Day Online report to be very useful in exploring different ways to market to different groups - I hope you find it useful too.
Looking for a good way to stay in touch with the
people who visit your blog or website? I
you may want to consider sending out an ezine, or electronic
newsletters. This is a great way to share good content, introduce your
infoproducts or services and promote other people's products.
A word of warning though, preparing a weekly ezine can really sap your time, deadlines need to be met. If you run your online business alone then be mindful of how much time you can actually allocate to preparing a weekly newsletter.
If you already have lots of content that's a great,
but if you're still struggling to find good quality information for your target
market then perhaps you need to ask yourself if you will be able to maintain a
blog or website with so little content? Perhaps you need to re-think your niche
market.
You may want to consider a fortnightly, or bi-weekly ezine instead until you build up enough interesting information or your own infoproducts.
Here are 7 tips to help you find content for your weekly ezine:
1. Every time you come across an interesting article, blog post or snippet of information in your sector record it in a notepad kept near your computer.
2. Send out a survey asking your readers their main areas of concern. Bring together all the different sections and use this information as a basis for one section of your ezine until you have exhausted the list. Use the free Survey Monkey service to do this.
3. Add an 'Ask (your name)' section to your blog or website and encourage your clients to send you their questions. Use this information to form the basis of a 'Q & A' section in your ezine.
4. If you're sharing personal news and information about yourself in your ezine, a word of caution, do not disclose information that could breach your personal security, such as your address, date of birth, etc.
5. Consider adding a 'Recommended by (your name)' section and use this to promote products or services you find are good value for money.
6. If you've purchased services or products from other internet marketers and feel they offer good value for money, become their affiliate and promote their products or services if they are complementary to your own.
7. Include a 'Coming events' section and inform your readers of your up and coming events and new products launches.
But its not as difficult as you think. Millions of people worldwide are seeking help on the internet - but they aren't all looking to read a best-seller book. In fact, initially most people look for short snippets of information to help them solve their problems. You've done that yourself, right?
Article writing is one of the best ways to raise your online visibility. I've found since I started writing articles my online visibility has soared. Since subscribing to several article directories last year I was amazed to see over 20,000+ people worldwide have read my articles on a variety of topics from internet marketing, blogging, teleseminars, success, dating, careers, personality types or affiliate products I have used or recommend.
Remember, you already have a lot of experience
of life to bring to the table. You can write about all sorts of topics
too, you don't have to stay in your niche.

Here are a few good reasons for creating a Facebook Page.
1. Having a dedicated area where you can promote your business or not-for-profit organization without the fear of being de-activated by the powers that be on FB will help you sleep at night.
2. You want to keep your personal contacts (FB friends and family) separate from your business followers (FB fans)
3. Facebook Pages are indexed by the search engines
4. Facebook provides information about visitor stats on these pages
5. There are no limits to the number of 'fans' you can have on your Page - unlike the personal area where you're the limit is 5000 friends.
